Swae Lee & Post Malone Reunite On “Sunflower”

The song is set to appear on the soundtrack to ‘Spider Man: Enter the Spider-Verse.’

Swae Lee and Post Malone first linked up earlier this year for “Spoil My Night,” a cut off Post’s sophomore album beerbongs & bentleys. Today, the two rappers reunited on “Sunflower,” the first single from the soundtrack to the upcoming Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse film. The song features production by Post Malone’s frequent collaborator Louis Bell as well as Carter Lang, who is known for his work with SZA, Rihanna, and Isaiah Rashad.

On the track, Swae and Post drop similes about love and flowers:

I think your love would be too much
Or you’ll be left in the dust
Unless I stuck by ya
You’re the sunflower

The animated Spider Man film is set to hit theaters on December 14, with the soundtrack debuting on the same day. If the song charts, as it seems likely to do, it would join at least 21 of Post Malone’s other songs that have hit the Billboard Hot 100 this year. The rapper is still riding high off the release of beerbongs & bentleys, while Swae Lee also found success earlier this year with Rae Sremmurd’s triple-disc SR3MM.
